Using a Lifetime ISA to Buy Your First Home
A Lifetime ISA (LISA) can add a government bonus to savings used for a first home, within set rules. The current terms and limits should always be checked directly.
How the bonus works
The government adds a bonus to eligible contributions up to an annual limit, and the funds can go towards a first home below a set purchase price. There are conditions on how long the account is held and how funds are withdrawn.
Rules and caps can change, so confirm the current position on GOV.UK.
Points to check
A withdrawal for a non-qualifying reason can incur a charge. Coordinate the LISA withdrawal timing with your conveyancer so funds are available when needed.

General mortgage information, not a personal recommendation. Lender criteria and scheme rules can change. Ask an adviser about your circumstances and a solicitor or tax adviser about legal or tax questions. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Most buy-to-let mortgages are not regulated by the FCA.
